Justin Yayi Ekoe

Justin is our Country Partner in Togo. He holds a Master's in Business Law from the University of Benin (Togo). He also holds a Master's in African Community Law (Option: Business Law from the Institute of Community Law, Abidjan, Republic of Ivory Coast). Besides, he participated in a training course at the Summer University of PARIS II: ASSAS-PANTHEON: diplomat training including the following modules: international and European contract law, public contracts including public tenders, international dispute resolution, approach to tort law and intellectual property. Justin has been part of the JWF team for over 12 years now.

Justin has many years of experience in providing legal advice and assistance to clients (various companies and potential investors), in several practice areas ranging from labour & employment to energy, natural resources, public-private partnerships and especially corporate & commercial.

With his academic and professional background, Justin has a strong international orientation. As a matter of fact, he has played a key role in the successful completion of several deals he advised on, and he has a perfect command of local law. Justin is fluent in French and English.
