John W Ffooks & Co is delighted to announce the opening of its new Mauritius office in Port Louis.
Ffooks Gokulsing LLP is a Mauritian law firm created as a collaboration between John W Ffooks & Co, the leading independent law firm covering Francophone Africa, and Gokulsing Chambers, a Mauritian law firm with over 50 years’ experience of advising clients in Mauritius.
Ffooks Gokulsing LLP joins up the expertise of Mrs Preeti Gokulsing, a British-educated and Mauritian-law qualified barrister with over 20 years of experience in commercial and corporate law with that of JWF partners, John Ffooks and Richard Glass, both City-trained and English-law qualified solicitors with significant deal-experience in sub-Saharan Francophone Africa. The new firm is a vibrant and solid expression of our faith in regional collaboration for an integrated approach to legal services across our jurisdictions and is aimed at offering a full range of services in Mauritius to both international and local clients.
Ffooks Gokulsing LLP is managed on the ground by our Managing Partner, Preeti Gokulsing who is shouldered by Richard Glass for all international matters. Preeti’s team consists of several barristers and solicitors acting as associates and working partners in the general and commercial local litigation sectors.
