We advised a London-based exploration and development company with a strong focus on new oil and gas finds located primarily in West Africa, on the acquisition financing of an asset located in offshore Congo-Brazzaville. We reviewed the security package and conducted detailed due diligence on the target in-country. We commented on the accounts structure from a local law perspective, and reviewed the Government payment guarantee in respect of the gas sales agreement.
