Oumar Mohamed Moctar

Oumar holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from the Université de Nouakchott as well as an university post-graduate research degree from the Université de Tunis. He also holds a university post-graduate degree in Management from the Université de Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne. His master thesis relates to trade finance in Mauritania. He holds a Diploma from the Center for Financial Economic and Banking studies of the French Development Agency. Oumar specializes in business law, private international law, companies law, procurement, company incorporation and liquidation of Mauritanian companies, office representation for foreign companies, legal status regarding the entry and stay of foreigners, employment law, human resources management, family law, criminal law and tax law. Before becoming an attorney in 2003, he was the legal and administrative manager of the Mauritanian Agency for Public Works and Employment with now over twenty years of experience. Oumar is fluent in French and English.
